Seven Layer Dip

Serves 8 to 10 as an appetizer

1 batch Wellness Forum Instant Black Bean hummus, prepared according to package instructions
1 cup of your favorite salsa
1 cup Del’s Southwest Salad Dressing (recipe below)
One large red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup black olives, sliced
Two avocados, diced, tossed with the juice of 1 lime
1 bunch cilantro chopped


  • Layer each ingredient in the order given in a large bowl—a see through glass one if you have it


Southwest Dressing

1 package silken tofu
Zest and juice from 3 limes, or 6 tablespoons bottled lime juice
4 cloves garlic
1/4 cup fresh, chopped cilantro
1 Tablespoon toasted, ground cumin
2 teaspoons ancho chile powder
1 teaspoon sea salt


  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth and creamy.
  • Makes 1 3/4 cups.
