Sue Scharf earned her BA from Western Michigan University. She completed the Diet and Lifestyle Intervention Course through the Wellness Forum Institute, and was one of the first health educators trained to operate a location for Wellness Forum Health when the company opened in 1996. She has completed extensive training during the last 20 years, and owns the longest-running location outside the corporate office.
Sue became very interested in health when her father was diagnosed with cancer, and this has fueled her passion for teaching others about optimal health and informed medical decision-making. When she isn’t reading a health promoting book, you can find her in a yoga class (hot or gentle), traveling, gardening and making great healthy food for her 8 grandchildren. Sue received the prestigious Founders Award in 2009 for her contributions to the development of Wellness Forum Health.
Description of practice:
She offers Wellness Forum Health classes, in addition to topical workshops, cooking classes, book reviews and dinner outings at local restaurants.
